Yeah, Joe is right. http://preloaders.net is a lot better. They also support apng now and have a lot of new preloaders

@Gareth - Preloads are a really handy way to let the user knows something is actually happening. I normally use jQuery something like this:

$(”#loading”).bind(”ajaxSend”, function(){
$(this).show();
}).bind(”ajaxComplete”, function(){
$(this).hide();
});
