Hi James… Great post. How risky is it to use directories like these. Is there a penalty from Google etc?
Some of the directories this site is pointing to look a bit dodgy!

@Stephen - I think most of the sites are fine because you are not buying the links and they are categorised into specific sections. So they are meaningful links rather than a link build ring. I would suggest to put a few links on and see how you go.
